Kouji Miyata, the mangaka behind many one-shots and regular series like Kiki Mimi Zukan, Wanko ni Kuchizuke and Yome ga Korena Monde passed away at age 34 recently on 22 October 2015.
His sudden death was confirmed by his father on Facebook being due to a brain hemorrhage that in turn was caused by high blood pressure.

Koji Miyata’s funeral is scheduled on 28 October. Fellow artist, ASUNA posted the Twitter update about his passing.
After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University, his work Jyabara/Bellows received an honourable mention in the 8th EntraBrain Entertainment Award in 2006 then debut as professional mangaka with Neko de Tandem/Tandem by a Cat.
His first regular series is Kiki Mimi Zukan/Pictorial Book of Sound published from May to December 2008. Kouji Miyata latest works are Wanko ni Kuchizuke/Why Not Be My Dog’s (6th tankubon volume) and Yome ga Korena Monde/ Oh! My Sweet Alien! (2nd tankubon volume) which were released together in Japan on 14 September 2015.
