Pokemon is one of those franchises that is known around the world, by everyone. Even my grandmother knows what Pokemon is. Naturally, Pokemon merchandises can be found everywhere, even in Pasar Malams. But there’s one merchandise in Indonesia, in particular, that will most definitely give you an erection.

A Squirtle pillow in an Indonesia store has gone viral on Japanese Twitter as many are saying it’s inappropriate for kids. Haiyo, thanks for ruining the fun, Japan!

One Japanese Twitter user @all_nations2 posted the picture (above) with the quote, “This Indonesian Squirtle is obscene.” It is unknown at this time if the strikingly similar shape between the pillow and a penis is merely coincidental or by design. Users on Twitter are at a divide, with some people claiming that it’s just a pillow, while some are clearly unhappy.
Some of the quotes that can be found on Twitter are:
“It’s just a pillow. You all have dirty minds.”
“When did Pokémon turn into ‘adults only?’”
“It’s so big.”
At least the person who posted the third quote has a good sense of humour, while person one and person two are certified losers. I’m providing the certification btw, so it must be true.
On a completely unrelated note, the Pokemon company is releasing their 39849349th movie titled I Choose You, which features Ash Ketchum and Pikachu in a flashback to their earlier days. Yay, a PREQUEL! Looks like, just like mainstream Hollywood, Pokemon is running outta ideas too.
I Choose You is set to hit Japanese theatres on July 15, but there has been no American release date announced yet.
