Matt Reeves, director for the upcoming Solo Batman film, The Batman, says the new movie about the caped crusader will be very much a noir thriller.
Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, War for the Planet of the Apes) is also working on the script and while most of it is still a mystery, there’s a possibility of Josh Gad being The Penguin. Of course, this is on top of Batman being played by Ben Affleck, who at this point is already being referred to as The Batfleck.
Hopefully, we hear more news soon, with The Batman expected to hit the screens sometime in 2019.
