#TeamCap & #TeamIronMan
The lineups for #TeamCap and #Team Iron man line up mostly with their comic book counterparts, although there were a lot more heroes involved in both sides in the comics.
On Cap’s side we’ve got Falcon, obviously; Ant-Man, understandably; Hawkeye, who wasn’t really alive at the time of Civil War in the comics but got better; Scarlet Witch, who was in hiding for Civil War after the House of M crossover, and Bucky Barnes, the Winter Soldier, who we’re betting is key to all this.
Over on #TeamIronman we’ve got War Machine, who’s usually going to back up his buddy Tony; Black Widow, who as a super-spy, not a super-human wasn’t really involved in Civil War except as an agent of SHIELD; The Vision, who should surely be more than powerful enough to take down Team Cap on his own with his Mind Stone infused powers, and new heroes to the MCU Black Panther and Spider-Man.
As we’ve mentioned before Spider-Man changed sides halfway through the Civil War comics and the Black Panther sided with Cap not Ironman, so it will be interesting to see if these two new incarnations of these heroes play out something similar, switching sides if or when Tony goes over board?
In the comics the Vision also sided with Cap and was instrumental in the final confrontation between the two sides when he disabled Iron Man’s armour. Will his declaration that he is on “the side of life ” in Age of Ultron result in change of heart too?
