Empire Online’s dropped a new bunch of still images from the upcoming Wolverine film, Logan; and we get to see both X-23 and Wolverine with their claws out.
Set to be the last time Hugh Jackman will be playing Wolverine, Logan basically is his exit from the X-Men universe. X-23 is played by newcomer Dafne Keen, Boyd Holbrook and the grim film is directed by James Mangold.
If you’ve already seen the two trailers for Logan, you’ll see that it isn’t your average superhero flick but rather a more solemn story, with a pinch of violence. The events of the movie is set years after X-Men: Apocalypse, with a weakening Wolverine who is caring for an ailing Professor X, while hiding out near the Mexican border.
Then he finds Laura, a mutant who is more similar to him than should be possible.
