Looks like we won’t be getting the late Carrie Fisher in Star Wars: Episode IX, though General Leia Organa will still be an integral part of The Last Jedi.
This was confirmed by president Kathleen Kennedy, stating that this will be Fisher’s last appearance in the franchise from here on out. But there will still be lots of her in The Last Jedi, and we hope that it will be the perfect send-off for the actress (and character) we know and love.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will hit the cinemas 15 December 2017.
