The Gintama anime series is making a return later this year!
The anime will officially be back on Tokyo TV in October with a “Porori Arc” which is great considering the anime has been pushing out reruns since April this year, albeit with new opening and ending sequences.
However, there’s no indication whether or not the anime will be new or it will once again feature reruns. The Gintama manga the series is based on started in 2004 and continues to run to this day, inspiring a TV anime as well as a live-action movie that’s set to drop in a couple of weeks.
