That’s right, we got another live-action film adaptation coming and it’s going to be based on the Bleach manga.
The 38th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump revealed that Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga will be getting its own movie in a couple of years. The adaptation will be starring Sota Fukushi will be starring as Ichigo Kurosaki, with Shinsuke Sato directing.
They haven’t revealed which arc or story they will be running in the movie yet but we’re fairly certain it will be based on the main events of the manga.
Bleach entered its final story arc in February 2012, with its 74th volume to be the final volume for the manga.
So far the manga has inspired a series of novels, video games and four anime films, with a handful of musical stage adaptations.
