Months after a handful of images made its way to the internet, Bleach finally has a trailer for the upcoming live-action movie!
While the trailer itself isn’t very long, we get to see our hero, Ichigo Kurasaki fend off some CGI spook with his Zanpakuto soul cutter sword. Ichigo wields a whole slew of different swords though his “career” as a Shinigami, but the one you see here is the very first one he uses.
The movie is set to hit sometime next year, and as far as the plot goes, it shouldn’t be too far off from the manga albeit likely with a few tweaks here and there.
For those unfamiliar with the series, Bleach focuses on Ichigo, a teen who is able to see ghosts. He eventually teams up with Rukia, a Shinigami who is charged with taking down the Hollows (aka evil spirits) from causing havoc in the human world.
