6. “KonoSuba” Season 2
In 2016, Kono Subarashii Sekai ni Shukufuku o! or better known as KonoSuba, became a surprise for the year. The story revolved around Kazuma, your typical fish out of water protagonist who ends up being bound to a less than benevolent goddess Aqua after suffering a less than heroic death.
Despite his lack of machismo thought, this former Hikikomori’s knowledge of gaming has served him well as he, Aqua and the other lovable female companions adventure across a world that looks like it came straight out of an RPG. And like it’s the first season, we’re pretty sure that Season 2 of KonoSuba will have plenty of monsters, comedy and of course, more and more explosions
