Joker Game
Based off a novel series of the same name by Kōji Yanagi which inspired a live-action film and manga is a story of a mysterious spy training organization known as the “D Agency”.
The story which takes place in the year 1937 on the eve of World War II sees the recruited people of Lieutenant Colonel Yuuki of the Imperial Japanese Army go on missions to uncover secret documents while battling enemies internally and externally.
The novel was so good that it won the Mystery Writers of Japan award in 2009. However, it has taken close to six-years for an anime series to be made following a live-action film last year and a manga adaptation this year in February.
The anime produced by Production I.G. is set to debut on April 5.
