Battery – a baseball term for the combined effectiveness of catcher-pitcher combination.
And with that definition, we have a baseball anime that centres around Takumi Harada, a talented pitcher who is experiencing moments of doubts about his abilities as a pitcher, and wonders if anyone can catch the fastballs he dishes out. While spending his spring break in the mountains, he meets Ko Nagakura, a catcher who can catch the fastballs thrown by Takumi.
This slice of life sports anime follows the friendship that develops between them as they experience life in the mountains.
