Ajin: Demi-Human
Those who enjoyed Parasyte might probably want to give this anime a chance as it carries the same sense of suspense and thrill including the grotesqueness.
Based on the seinen manga written and illustrated by Gamon Sakurai, Ajin’s television series has been kicked off through its first anime film titled, Ajin: Shōdō (Ajin: Impulse) which debuted in Japan on November 27, 2015. The film is the first of the trilogy of anime films which was adapted from the manga.
The story chronicles Kei Nagai, a high school student who should have died in a traffic accident only to find himself coming back alive as a demi-human (Ajin), a new type of human resistant to death – in other words the dude is an immortal!
Watch it if: You love action packed supernatural thrillers animated via CGI engines.
