5. Mob Psycho 100
This anime is probably the most anticipated manga adaptation for this summer. If you have enjoyed One Punch Man created by ONE, you’ll be looking forward to this one.
Drawn and animated in the same style as One Punch Man, this anime follows Kageyama Shigeo a.k.a Mob, who appears to be an ordinary middle school boy, with hidden psychic powers. As he grows older and trying to fit in, he suppresses his powers by keeping his emotions in check – until his accumulated emotions become unbearable and reaches 100 points on his emotional scale – he explodes and unleashes his devastating power within. Mob tries to live a normal life with the help of his mentor Reigen, but trouble seems to find him and threatens to throw him off the emotional balance once again.
