New information regarding about Souichirou Shinno and Shirabi’s Musaigen no Phantom World/Myriads Colors Phantom World or 無彩限のファントム・ワールド anime series has surfaced. The new anime is set to be produced by famous Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) studio as announced recently.
First, the series will aired in January 2016 on Japanese TV stations such as ABC Asahi, Tokyo MX,TV Aichi and BS11. The official site revealed the cast together with a first look at the character design:
Hiro Shimono (The World God Only Knows) as Ichijou Haruhiko
Sumire Uesaka (Sanae Dekomori in Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) voicing as Mai Kawakami
Saori Hayami (Miyuki Shiba in Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei) will voice Reina Izumi
Maaya Uchida (Rikka Takanashi from Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!) is voicing Koito Minase
Azusa Tadokoro (Fino Bloodstone in Yuushibu) as Ruru
Misaki Kuno (Kate Hoshimiya from Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda) as Kurumi Kumamakura
Kikuko Inoue (Sanae Furukawa in Clannad) as Arisu Himeno
Shosuke Morohashi , voiced by yet-to-be revealed VA.
The director of the series will be Tatsuya Ishihara (Clannad, Hibike! Euphonium) while series composition is done by Fumihiko Shimo (Clannad, Kokoro Connect). Anime character design and chief animation director falls to Kazumi Ikeda (Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!, Clannad) with art director being Mikiko Watanabe (Amagi Brilliant Park, Kyoukai no Kanata) and Yota Tsuruoka (Clannad, Hibike! Euphonium) as the sound director. Soundtrack is composed by EFFY/Moribe Kosuke (Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the Movie 2nd A Theme Song).
The novel is published under Kyoto Animation’s print and won the Honourable Mention at the Kyoto Animation Awards 2013. Additional information will be revealed at the Kyoto Animation & Animation Do Fan Event (31st October – 1st November 2015) in Kyoto city itself.
